LED done light doesn't turn off?

So I installed LEDs in my car today, but the one in the dome light won't turn off. I know that LEDs don't use a lot of power, but is it safe to leave it dim? Just want to make sure I'm not going to kill my battery/LEDs.

Thanks again for answering my stupid question haha.

It isn't on a timer? Where you lock your doors walk away and 20 seconds laer it shuts off? it just stays on forever?

No idea haha now I feel stupid. Ill leave it on tonight and see what happens in a few hours. If it isn't on a timer though, is it still fine to leave on? It's so dim you can only notice it's on if you look at it

Like real faint and it has to be dark in order for you to see it? If so then it is normal and wont kill your battery. It will go completely off if you switch the dome light switch from auto to off.

They're so faint that if you didn't know it was an LED it might look like very white circles. When it's set to auto they're unbelievably dim, off they're off, and on they're on. So if I leave them like this (on auto with them dim) it'll be fine?

Thanks for the replies by the way.

You shouldn't have any problems what so ever.
