Why is it that only one of my speakers work sometimes?
So I recently changed my stock non-bose speakers in the front for some Pioneer TS-A1674R's....... They sound great & I can't wait to change the rears....The only problem I have is that it has its tendencies to go out when I hit a pothole, close the door or any "hard" vibrations encounter it.........I double checked the wires & all, they're hooked up correctly......Should I send the speaker to Pioneer or try to see if Best Buy will replace it?

stock everything else?
vc = voice coil. if you look under the speaker, you'll see two wires leading towards the middle of the cone. the wires go to the voice coil deep inside the magnet. these wires can go bad so you may have intermittent connection whenever you hit a bump etc. if you have a multimeter handy, just connect the probes to the + and - on the speaker and see what kind of resistance you're getting. if the speaker leads are bad, you wont get a reading.
