Hey, I am planning to put a computer in my car. I want to put the computer and a Power Converter in my trunk. Because I dont think I can afford a motherboard that is small enough to go in front. I however, want to have an Idash DVD Player up under my Monitor. Does anyone know how far I can run the IDE Cable from the trunk and if this is possible. I would like to have an Internal Drive and use long IDE Cable. Or I might Could just Buy and External USB Drive, but that just wouldn't be as cool. Any Ideas on how long these cables can be and where I might could get something like a 9 foor IDE Cable?

One more Question. How tough is doing DC to DC? To you need a power supply on the computer to do that?
