I'm guessing you have an 03 Max. Do you plan on using an IB sub in the rear deck?

For the price and performance, the Sundown SA-12 is one of the best in that price category. They retail for $200. There is someone selling a pair of them over in the classifieds section, you can PM him and see if he'd sell you just one.

For QUALITY components, amps, processors, and subs. You might want a good credit card. I have build systems easily exceeding 7,000 bucks in just products. Here are a few names you want to look into.

Mosconi
Audison
Morel
Image Dyanmics
Zapco
Rainbow
Focal

What are you looking to get accomplished with your system upgrade?

Nothing that crazy. Just wanna add a little more to stock Bose. Figured a good 12 n 500-1000 watt amp would do it. At this point lookin at kicker 4 gauge wire with a sundown 12inch sub. Just not sure what amp to use. I know I want a mono amp. Prob 1000 watts. But don't know what brand? Do u have a suggestion for $200-$300?
