Crutchfield alarm any good?

OK, my stock alarm failed me and Maxine (my '99 SE-L)... I have been thinking about the Crime Guard systems Crutchfield sells. Any thoughts on these alarms, or problems with them?

Also, Crutchfield advertises their "quick interconnect harnesses" to make install simpler, anyone tried that?

Thanks for any input!

the harnesses that they give you can be purchased anywhere.......but the thing is that they give very nice and detailed instructions that make installation very easy......any alarm which reduces your insurance cost is good
