I'm dumb with car audio...hopefully with all your guy's input i can decided what i need

i want to get a new headunit and 4 new speakers...no amp or sub's...at least not yet...i don't listen to crazy bass music (no hip-hop or club)...i just want better sound...i don't need a remote and i want to get the best quality and reliability for the cheapest price (broke college student)

hopefully if enough people reply with thier experiences with manufactures and set ups this could be a sticky
