I have a 90 SE with the factory bose stereo, and i took a door panel off and saw that the factory speakers have a nifty factory box they are in. I already have the amps bypassed, and i was wondering what size speaker i could put in the box in place of the bose? it looks kinda odd-shaped. Anyone used the box or do most people do away with it and just mount to the door?

Thanks!

the factory box..

the factory box will fit up to a 5 1/4" speaker. Anything larger and you will have to take it out.
