I have a 03 GLE. The navi with AC together as on, the touch screen. Can I just buy the regular auto AC module and put in a double din nav system from this decade? xD

 

Nope, can't be done.

 

I would just leave it, it looks good the way it is. If you want to do aftermarket, get yourself a DSP (digital signal processor) and then add the amps and whatever else from there. You'll still have all the benefits of an aftermarket headunit (plus more).

 

^^Wrong. It's not possible. The controls cannot be decoupled.

 

There was nothing wrong about what I said....I told him to leave his factory setup alone, and add a DSP if he wanted to add aftermarket speakers and amps. I've done it in my car so I know what I'm talking about. Go sit down

 

OP is asking about replacing a head unit, nothing else. The quality of the output from the oem deck will still be crap even with a DSP. You can relax and stop bumping 2 month old threads.

 

Take a listen to my car and then reconsider. Have 3 SQ trophies to prove my point.

 

You may, and that's fine. But you have a 2014. The OP has a 2003, which I know has poor sound quality. So thanks for your irrelevant information.
