how to improve my audio system??
how to improve my audio system??
guys, since i changed my sony xplod headunit back on my car, those are 52x4....then i thought that the stock speakers can't handle that much power...then i changed the front speakers, i got the infiniti kappa 62.3i...sounds better...but still can't heard some bass music or loud music...and recently i saw a sub and amp package for sale about 140.....if i get this, will this improve??? the package includes one 800w sony xplod amp, and 2 10" kicker woofers...for installing them?? since u guys done that before.....did u guys remove ur seat??? how did u guys connect it into ur headunit??? really need help....thanks guys..i owned a 2k2 max~
Well, you can only get so much bass out of 6.5" speakers anyway. Not to mention the fact that the 52.4 is Max power. constant power they get is around 22 watts. A sub and amp will help alot but it really depends on the type of sub, he type of box, etc
it's a bandpass box...and a sony amp....i think those r nice...my question is...cuz me want to save money for installation....when u install them, do u have to remove ur seat?? and how did u guys connect the wire into ur headunit??? or is there a easiest way to install sub??
www.maximadriver.com Go to the how2 section. I have an article on installing an amp and speakers, as well as Head unit. That should help you out...

That HU puts out only about 12 watts per channel. You can't overdrive any speaker with that, but you might fry the voice coils with the distortion if you drive the HU too hard.
