I need amps. I want top quality and clarity. WHAT SHOULD I GET?? PPI, AUTOTEK OR PHOENIX GOLD??? I'm doing a complete system with all top quality stuff. Thanks for your help.

 

PG is good, PPI's are very nice, and I just happen to have to for sale and at a great price!

 

Go with the JL 1000/1. JL makes this amp to match perfectly with their W7's

 

Zapco 9.0 with a w7 will distroy all.

 

imo the 3/1.5ohm stuff is crap. just buy a huge amp from any quality brand, and youll get the same power as the JL 1000/1 or more, for the same price.

just think, the jl 500/1 sells for about 360ish on ebay. (think how much the 1000/1 costs then..)

instead, the JBL BP1200.1 puts out 1200w+ at both 1&2ohm, and can be found for 269-279ish .. still more power than the JL 1000/1 .. so you can see the value here, i hope.

Why are PPI's so large??

 

Because they produce a boatload of power!
