I have a punch 250 amp and i just traded my friend for a pair of punch xlc 10's in seperate .75 cu foot truck boxes. Will this amp be enough power or should i try to get a different combination. I like how the boxes fit perfectly in the rear of the truck under trunk lips and face each other. I still have full use of most of the trunk and the folddown seats.

Try running them at 2ohms, but don't expect it to pound. Two 250's running in parallel would be nice though.

Hey, i suggest you experiment. Point your subs into the walls of your trunk. I've seen people with single subs pointed toward the wall of their trunks, and it creates a box inside of a box. Your trunk acts like an enclosure. As for the punch250 combo, if you run the power from 1 channel parallel into both subs, you should get a decent amount of bass. If you want to have the subs performing at their optimum level, i would suggest you get yer hands on a 360a2 and run it with the same wiring.
Just in case you don't know how to wire parallel, go to jlaudio.com and look for their wiring guide, it'll explain everything.

How can he run them at two ohms?
Unless the speakers are two ohms each then he is stuck. If he has four ohm subs he can wire them in parallel and get a two ohm load but then he can only use a single channel of his two channel amp. The 250 is not two ohm stable in parallel.

So maxima651 you can either:
- run one channel to each sub
- wire the subs in parallel and only use one of the channels of your amp
- bridge your amp to one channel and power only one sub
- get a second amp or a bigger amp

I would recommend the first option, or give your friend the box and subs back and get a single sub that can handle the power, Unless you are going to get a bigger amp. Try everything out and see which works best for you.

I got it all hooked up and it sounds pretty good. The woofers are facing each other in rear of trunk so i basically have all my trunk left. Doesnt hit like my 2 vega 15's I used to have bu then again they were so loud they must of grown legs and walked out of my car! After having 2 systems stolen valued at about $5000, I dont have the need for a ton of bass anymore. These sound fine for listening to rock and occosionaly eminem. You kind of loose interest when all your stuff gets ripped off.
