Were to connect my a REM wire on my none bose oem system?
Were to connect my a REM wire on my none bose oem system?
I know on aftermarket decks the light blue wire is usually the REM wire but does anyone know what I should do on my oem head unit? I know I could probably tap into my clock wire or something but there's probably a easier way, right?
Thanks for any help

even tho 5th gen has no external antenna...but u guys do have "antenna" thas the only way ya'll could get radio station...so u actually do have a wire for "antenna turn on"...i know for sure that on a 96-97 honda accord does not have an external antenna but there was a "antenna turn on" wire...if u have stock deck then u can look for the "antenna turn on" wire and tap into that....or u can run ur remote wire to ur fusebox and put in a fuse...
Is there any kind of factory amp for any of the speakers? I recall my 3rd gen had a rear amp on a non bose system, and I used the remote from there. Or you can just connect it to the (car on?) wire.
You can just use the accessory wire behind the radio. The same one that turns the radio on. Even if your radio does have a power ant. wire, I wouldn't use it because usually they are wired so that when the tuner is shut off, like when you switch to cd or tape or whatever, the power ant. wire shuts off, meaning that unless you are listen to a radio station, that wire will not be powered. Obviously if the tuner is off the antenna doesn't need to be up....thus making it a bad wire to use for turning on an amp........to make a long story short....use the acc. wire.
