The front crossovers, right now they're sitting inside the door panel. Anton (Sweetsound) suggested using 'silicone' to mount them against the door panel.
My rear crossovers (I have Focal components all around) are hanging out in my trunk. Should I use valcro, double-sided tape or silicone to mount them? Where?
Worst comes to worst, I'll think up something
I'm just wondering how you guys mount yours ?
tks. Ange

Mine are installed in the doors attached to the instide of the door panel. Works well for me. My electronic x-over between the HU and amps is installed in a custom panel in the trunk lid which might be a cool place to install your rear speaker x-overs.

I custom fitted mine into the pockets on the front passenger and driver doors.. They look really nice and when they are being used they are in a position to light up the whole car..

what's a good 'adhesive' to use when mounting these x-overs?
3M Double Sided Tape/ Silicone/ Others ??

With my Fosgate Component Set they come apart, and there is a small screw hole, where you can screw it where you want to mount it.. But I guess it will differ depeneding on what set you have.. If you dont have screw holes I would recommend 3M, it always works good for me..

In many competition cars they put their passive and active crossovers under the passinger seat.

I'm just going to crop the ground cables and reground them to the trunk floor (towards the back) rather than backseat.
Zip tie all the wires in the trunk (75% done) and tidy it up. As for the front x-overs, I'll have to drive to Bklyn and get the shop to open 'em up since they have to put in custom tweeter waffle cups anyway. 3M double sided tape should work rite (to mount the x-overs) ?

I've got my front crossovers behind the kick panels on the driver and passenger side floors. Very clean and not difficult to install or get to afterwards.
