I was wondering what everyone's opinions on Audiobahn amps are. I have gotten a lot of different opinions from different people. Some say that they are great, and some say that they suck a$$... I respect a lot of people on this board against most of the people who I've asked, and I would like to get some of your opinions. Thanks.... oh yea... What do ya'll think about the new Clarion hu's ... pretty tight!!!

not exactly experience with amps but with my experience with the audio subs is that their higher end stuff is good, but the lower end stuff isn't...stay away from it if possible. I am sure the same goes for the amps, I have heard some VERY nice (extremely loud) systems with all audiobahn components. My Clarion head unit (not new) 7576z I think it is...I like it a lot, great features/sound for the money and my friends newer model has great displays also.

Well, I already have the Vega's and I am pushing them with a crappy Sony XM-1002 amp. They are in a box designed for a Silverado... you can probably imagine... LONG! jmax is building a box right now, but i was looking into buying a new amp very soon. I was thinking about three different setups actually. 1 Rockford Fosgate 750's, 2 HiFonics Z400's, or 1 Audiobahn A3201x. Right now, I am leaning towards the two HiFonics, but people have told me that they are a bit inefficient. Do you have any recommendations? thanks...

I like it, hoping to get different subs though and keep this amp. How many ohms are the subs you have? Because my subs are 4 ohms each so its not good to hookup to an amp thats 4ohms stable mono because I can't get full power out of it...This might be a problem for you if your subs are 4 ohms also...Same with the audiobahn amp-which might not be very good because it's of their lower product line...try to ask someone whos had that exact audiobahn amp because quality on their products vary...and to tell you the truth I know NOTHING about HiFonic.

My subs are 4 ohm, but they are dvcs. What I was planning on doing with the 750s was running the voice coils in parallel so that they run at 2 ohm, or at least close to it. That way the amp will hopefully give me close to it's rated power of 375 x 2 at 2 ohm. Do you think this will work well?
