4th Gen'rs looking for a hole in the firewall to run a cable thru

I did a search on the forum to find out if anyone could tell me where to find a hole in the firewall that I could run a power cable through. I got different answers, they ranged from: go through the wheel well to ,there is no hole to, you have to drill. I found a hole in my 96 GXE. It was so accessable, I'm surprised more people don't use it. I didn't have to crawl under the car or take off the wheel well cover. I thread my 4 ga cable through with no problem. The hole is even big enough to put a 2 ga through. Standing in front of your car looking at the engine compartment, it is off center a few inches to the right, about 5 - 6 inches down the firewall. You can also find it if you look at the back wall above the fuel pump. It's covered by a rubber stopper that looks kinda like a flattened nipple. If your firewall is dirty, you could easily bypass it. If you pry it out, there it is a nice size hole. It will drop your cable above the gas pedal near the center hump. E mail me www.pjalst@aol.com if you want me to send you a pic.
