Need help with speaker selection and amp selection

Here is the deal. I have decided to dump the Bose idea, it would have been to much of a hassle, but Sweetsound said that he could get me a Eclipse 4 channel amp for 180. Question i am asking is if there are amps that are also 4 channel under that price.

Like i have mentioned before, I have the following

1- 10 inch sub (JL Audio)(box)
1- V12 Alpine MRS-100m
details are here - http://www.sounddomain.com/sku/ALPMRV100M?ref=posn

Now, Sweetsound has also mentioned selling me an Eclipse Cd player that retails at $330, but selling it for 180 also. NOw, i want to know if i can get equal quality for anything cheaper. Now, i admit it, 180 for the cd player is great, but i am talking more of a good deal on the amp. Now with the speakers, what can you people recommend. And like i said before, i am looking for some decent quality, not competition winning material. All i need is 4 - 6 1/2 speakers. I believe Sweetsound mentioned 2- Components and 2-Coaxils.

He didn't give me any price for those though. What am i looking at. I was hoping to keep all of this under 500 bucks. What sucks is i have to consider installation.

thanks

bryan

Eclipse is known for their decks, I haven't heard much about their amps. The deck sounds like a good deal. The ampp all depends on how many watts RMS it puts out. There are lots of 4 channel amps under $180, it just depends on quality (brand), and quantity (watts). Take a look over at crutchfield.com to get an idea of what your money will buy you. I saw a US Acoustics 4065 4 channel amp that had 65 watts per channel RMS. That should be plenty to drive your components and deck speakers. I personally like US Acoustics because you get a lot for your money. Excellent sgnal to noise ratio, great channel separation, and they are rated at 12.9 volts, unlike most amps which are rated at 14.4 volts. So there you go.
