Nakamichi 45Z

Anyone have this Head unit? I have heard many good things about them. For the price it is sappose to have the best SQ for 300 bucks. Sure to some people they look a bit "plain" but I dont like my head units cluttered.

SQ-wise that HU is *very* good. However, if you read up on more reviews you'll notice the number problem owners of the unit have been complaining about is the CD player. Pre-2k production units always seem to bog down prematurely.

Well I didn't have the 45z, but the mb100. And I would never buy Nak a second time.

The sound quaility is amaizing but it has trouble reading cds with the tiny scratches or a slight finger print. And don't even try CD-R. I would look into something else as I am right now.
