01 Bose question

OK, im going to install my kenwood excelon 828 with the special bose adapter ... I have the bose system with the so called (sub) and I am wondering after the install is complete does anything special need to be done to stilll use that sub or does the adapter take care of it?

The adapter will let you run an aftermarket HU with your stock Bose system. Shouldn't be anything else that you need to change..
