Wiring Harness question (Searched, but no answer)

I was just wondering if the wiring harness bypasses the Bose system or makes the Bose system usable with the new HU. Used search but couldn't find a definite answer. Thanks

So you want to use a new HU with the bose speakers right?
There is an adapter and actualy now that I think of it I might know somebody that has on for sale Cheap. Or you could get it from an Audio shop for around Fifty dollars.

uh...yeah, I'm gonna use the new HU with the Bose (I have no $ for speakers). I know there's an adapter, I just wanna know what it does exactly...just for my own personal edification. So does it make the HU usable with Bose or just simply bypass the amp? o_O

I believe it allows the new HU to work with the amps...because if you get new speakers they say you then have to run new wire for the speakers, and this would be when you would bypass the amps...
