I was out messing around in my car and i think i found a nice place for a system in trunk.would it be possible to take out spare tire and make a specail box just to fit perfect where the spare tire went and run like two 12's or maybe 4 12's if fit.it would look pretty killer if made just right you could mount your amps beside it. just curouis if anyone tried it or if it would be possible maybe im imagine thing's lol

 

I've seen it done B4, but in other cars. Looks awsome if done right, just depends on what you want to spend. I would think 3 subs will fit nice in place of the spare. No pics...take a look in a stereo mag or something to get an idea.

 

...but not in a Max (at least not yet)..

A really good friend of mine has a 2001 Chrysler 300M, and he's got 4-12" Eclipse subs in a custom-made box that fits down in his spare wheel well. Of course, he had the spare tire removed. Sounds pretty good (he's got a very nice system), but I think if his sub box was vented, he'd probably get the kind of 'ghetto-bass' he wants.

I have no idea how much he spent on the custom enclosure, but I believe that if you go to Sounddomain.com, you'll find all kinds of nice (and some not so nice) stereo setups that could get your mind heading in the right direction.
