firewall help

someone said "run the wire through the driver side fender.
bring the power wire from the batterey to the fender.
(you will have to jack the car up and take out the plastic linig in your wheel well) that is where all the wires go from the engine bay into the cabin. just run the power wire next to all the other wires you can zip tie them to the stock wires when you are done. runthem through the ruber grommets and fish teh wire through."

Question, so i jack up the car, take off the wheel, and there is a plastic linning in there that i take off and i can see the wires? Please help, i am lost. thanks

I just put up a page on my website that shows my recent stereo install in my 96SE. I have 3 pictures that show where you need to run your power wire. No need to run through the fender.

I hope this helps!

Those instructions were meant for a 3rd gen. I don't know whether they're applicable to a 4th gen or not.
