I figure I could cut a hole in the rear dash and mount it in between the rear speakers, also I would have tap into the signal from a rear speaker,And does the 5th gen bose sub come with a amp like the other bose speakers. Thanks for any advice,Peace

I don't know how the 5th gen sub is set up, but based on the power a sub needs, it should have it's own amp. But they're probably tough (and expensive) to come by, so I'd say just go with an aftermarket sub and amp.

I could get one for about $150,

from a junkyard plus I think it would look real nice instaled on the rear dash in between my other boss speakers + it would no be very heavy and it would have the luxury of a maitnance free factory stereo. Also you would not have to wire the whole car up.

Well, in that case, go for it! The only big hurdle is cutting the hole in the rear deck for it, but a jigsaw or multi-tool should do the trick for that. The only other thing would be to figure out if you can just run it off one of the rear speaker leads. Having a bigger amp, it might need an additional power source, and you'd have to make sure it had a cross-over to let only the bass through.

The 5th gen Bose sub comes with an amp. I believe it's 80 watts.
