Ok i got a stock 2002 se i want to do the following 3ways front doors 3ways rear doors buy an alpine amp and buy a box with two 12 now the question is do i need to change my head unit? i want to keep it because of the steering controls!! i dont want to let go....
Please let me know and will the amp conpensate the head unit!!?

You do not need to replace the stock hu although I would definitely concider replacing it with an aftermarket one. You will be more pleased with the sound quality. You can keep your steering wheel controls even if you change the headunit. Crutchfeild.com has a pac converter for such an application. But if you can't afford a new hu or are content with the Bose, Crutchfeild also has a pac converter for that application as well. Hope this has helped.
