What can i do with my old sub now?

Since i have the new Kicker Comp 10 inch sub, what can i do with my JL Audio 10 inch, which i guess is partially blown since it was Waffling and Fluttering. The people at the store today were telling me that it costs anywhere from 1/2 to 3/4 the original cost of the sub to get it fixed. Is there anyway to go about fixing it? I just don't want to throw it away, i feel like it may have some kind of use, other then holding a stack of papers down.

thanks
bryan

you could plug it into the wall outlet. , but you won't be able to fix it after that, but it should be fun from what i hear.

If it still works you can do the same thing that I did, use it as a home theater sub. I have 2 JL 10W0 for my stereo, sounds better than the one 8" powered kenwood my dad has on his home system.

I new a place that did that with all their damaged returns. Go to parts express. They may hvae what you need. But what do you need? Just a surround? That should be pretty common and cheap for a JL sub.
