Questions for those with 0 gauge wire

To start I am have got all my equipment and I am still in the planning stages of building my system. I have about 22ft. of stinger 0 gauge wire and need to know a few things:
1-Will this be enough to run from the engine bay to the trunk?
2-Will I be able to run through the firewall and under the carpet to the back?

Currently I have 4 gauge running to my small sub amp and it fits under the side carpeting just fine. I'm worried there just wont be enough room to fit the 0 gauge. Which brings me to my last question:
3-Is it safe to run cable under the car and through the trunk somehow?

Also any advise from those who are using or have used 0 gauge in their Max are welcome.

Thanks
T

1. Yes
2. Drill through and yes.
3. More or less, yes...it would be good though to make a little "tube" if you will to incase it and protect it even more, never know what could happen.
4. Why do you need 0 gauge.

use the fender well, and run it down the side of car. slide it down so it doesn't make the carpet bulge, remove bottom rear seat and pass it into the trunk.

I'm running 1/0 in mine too.

If you actually paid for that stinger cable, you paid WAAAAY too much. I paid $1.15/ft for mine.

Yeah, it'll work. You could wrap it in some split loom tubing for a few dollars. Or jut run it the same way as the 4 gauge you have now. 22 ft should be enough to use as the ground also. Just make sure you mark it since both will be the same color.

Are you saying I should replace the factory ground wire that goes from the battery to the car or use 0 gauge wire for the amps ground?

And I would never pay full price for any power wire
