If you have an Automagic you can use the hole where the clutch would be. There is a small precut hole in the padding under the carpet, tear this out and carefully drill through the plate that is there. If you have a clutch, you will need to drill elsewhere...Just try to find an unobstructed spot in the firewall somewhere.

I have a 3rd gen and this is what im trying to do.
ive noticed that all the wiring goes through the drivers fender so im gonna try to run a wire with the rest of them by the fuse box starting at the one incab and then the one under the hood next to the battery where all the cables come out.

then im just going to have the power come out by the kick panel on the drivers side and its going to meet up with the RCA and the remote cables and im going to run them to the truck under the little kick panels (edge of the doors). it looks like it will work perfect but the hard part is the power cable.

I just put a carbon fiber gauge cover, it looks sweet, i pulled out the light bulbs and they have the blue "condoms" on them. Im going to be replacing them because they look white from the outside, basically the condoms do nothing at all. im going to trim mine blue. anyway, talk to you guys later, let me know of your ideas

Dont run your power and RCA on the same side of the vehicle, it can create unwanted signal interference...
