Bros, please post your thump setup here...

Please post your LOW-frequency delivering components. I am curious to what I should get for my 4th gen.

I am thinking of getting 2 Rockford 12" power series subs with a Rockford Power series amp. The enclosure will be ported into the rear deck.

I have always been Rockford faithful (for subs & amps) because they really deliver.....

I am also thinking JL Audio W7's.....

Wanna buy my alpine??? CDA-7840

This HU is in excellent condition and has the following:

40watts X 4, 4 volt preout, detachable face, Double Illumination (Red/Alpine Green), blackout option, AI-Net CD shuttle control, 2 preouts, wireless remote control, and many others... It was second from top of the line a few years ago and hasn't been used in a year. It's practically new. 250.00 will cover.

This is all you need to run a high end audio system.

2 Digital Designs 2012s in a ported box into the cabin, sealed off as much as possible from the trunk so there is no difference if the trunk is open or closed. I haven't finished the trunk yet so all I have up is this picture.

It may be a crappy picture but it gives you an idea of the setup.

Edit: forgot to tell you it is powered by a Lanzar Opti1000.1d. I will get SPL results when a competition comes around.

I have a single JL Audio 10w0 getting 150 watts RMS from a Phoenix Gold QX series amp. Not that impressive, but gives me all the bass I need and isn't heavy like my old setup.

JL 250/1 pushing 1- 10" Infinity Perfect. Nothing like clean, tight bass. I'm very happy.

If you put a seperator (plexy) inbetween those two subs you would "atleast" double you're output. Subs when firing at each other cancel each other out and you have your's close enough to 0 deg. that you will have a lot of cancelation.

just tryin' to help out.

and to stay on topic- (soon to be: have equip just not all in yet)

3 pg xmax 10's in the rear deck powered by a pg *team* ms2250 w/ '0' guage and a batcap. A pioneer p1r running through a pg eq215ix (or AudioControl eqx) through a pg m44 to boston 6.53x components, and a AudioControl model 11 center channel processor powering a boston 5-1/4 in 2-din slot. all in f/g enclosures.

Good Idea, I will have to look into that, and see if there is enough room to do something.
