How do you make fibergalss enclosures and...

Does anyone know how to work with fiberglass. Specifically how to make enclosures and baffles and molds and stuff. I have an idea of how to start off, but I was wondering what specific materials I need. I know I need Fiberglass Resin. But thats about it. What material do I used. By looking into this subject, I have seen that people use diffrent materials. I saw fiberglass mat at home depot, so is that ok to use. I assume it would be since it says fibergalss but when i go to certain sites on the web, they use grill cloth, fleece, i don't see them using fiberglass mat unless i am mistaken. If anyone had provide ANY information, whatever(links, books, videos, personal opinions, by all means please post. If you feel like it that is. Thanks everyone.

If they aren't using glass then it isn't fiberglass. A lot of people use cheaper and easier materials to mold. It's okay if you still use something with the stiffness and strength of glass, but most don't. They also like to cut the glass or other cloth into thin strips creating many more locations where the only source of strength is the resin. In many cases these enclosures have still been stong enough for speaker applications, but far less strong than the resin and glass' potential.

i know a lot of people use, the grill cloth the get the basic molds. they use fleece to add thickness (strength), and then they use some fiberglass mat or cloth to add strength.

personally i think it is much easier to work with the fiberglass materials rather than the grille cloth (though i have not used fleece).
