6.5" w/ 6.75" holes... what to do??

hey guys,

i've got a 2K max... how should i make it fit correctly and everything?.... i'm stuck.. does anyone have any install pics in a 5th Gen? i want to save the $$ and do it myself, if possible...

still... everything's in a box, not installed.

You could probably pick up adapters at a car audio shop

i was told Crutchfield sells adaptor rings
or you can cut them out yourself

Crutchfield does sell the adaptors, but if everything is still in the box its probably just as easy to take them back and get the 6.75s, usually not a difference in price between the two.

the problem is, not too many brands even make 6.75s.. or at least they are hard as hell to find..

depends on what you are looking for..definitely harder for componets, but you can usually find them for coaxs...I have Kappas, and I can't imagine a "normal" system needing much more than that
