I love my infinity refrences. I know that theyre not the best but for $130 +$20 shipping total thats a damn good deal. I got the 6x9s($70) and the 6.5s ($60) from etronics

They sound really nice and they add some decent thump.
hope this helps.

(its also 1/2 you price range so thats always good, you could even get some subs. Im getting (2) Refrence 10" from crutchfield, theyre 2 for $140 + $10 shipping, aint to shabby).

I was looking at the Infinity References, but I got the Polk EX3's instead. The Polks BLEW the Infinity's out of the water. The Polks are a much better sounding speaker, for the same price, if not less...Good Luck !

I can do Memphis for about $85, or Eclipse for about $80, Eclipse Pointsource for about $130. These are all BRAND NEW. I carry alot of other brands but these may fit your needs and your budget!

not sure if youd go for this, but i suggest leaving out your rear speakers, and spending more for front speakers, as they will sound MUCH better. just disconnect the rears and if you do it right, you should be able to close your eyes and see the musicians in front of you (not a drop in kind of thing, but with some mild custom work, it can happen).

I agree your rear speakers are only rear fill. concentrate on the front stage for now. polk are very good speakers. infinity are to high pitch will give you a head ache. polk a lot more well rounded. boston acoustics are also pretty good. dont get rockford . the make a great sub and amp but mids and highs just so so. i have had mb quart and infinity and now am on my second set of polk audio(sold first set for updated model) have had them for 2yrs. I pound them a lot and to this day have not blown i have 200watts rms to them.
