Driver's side mid range and tweeter are out?

Hey guys,
I just picked up a '97 SE and everything on the car works great EXCEPT the *2* speakers in the driver's door?!?! I removed the door panel last night, and the two speakers are "hooked up", but no sound is coming out?

Does anyone have any ideas where to go from here?

Should I remove the head unit to see if everything is hooked up properly at that end? Or could it be something else?

THANKS for ANY help!

You can check the head, but best bet is that there blown...Which means time for replacments.

I would say that since they are both off of the single amp in the door that there is a problem with that amp. My suggestion would be to take off the door panel and check the leads for power ground remote and signal to the amp and signal from the amp. But you may have also blow one speaker and it blew the second. While you are in there you might also check the speakers and make sure they are not blown. Just my 2 cents.
