Amp/Sub hooked up to factory Bose?

I want to hook up my amp to my factory Bose radio...possible?
Are there any "pre-outs" with the Bose?

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

no, u cant hook up Amps or Subs to the Bose Head Unit. It doesnt have Output for Amps. U have to buy an aftermarket radio if you want to hook up a sound system!

It depends:

It depends on what amp you're using and what kind of quality you are expecting to get. I have a Rockford Fosgate Punch 360a hooked up to my factory Bose system and with that amp I have no problems due to it's ability to be wired off of the speaker wire from the rear speakers. A lot of amplifiers out there will only accept input from RCA's and have no line-in ability. If that's the case, you've gotta go to your local stereo shop and purchase adaptors that take the signal sent through your regular speaker wire and turn it into RCA cables. (Downfall to this is that the quality and clarity usually suffer.

What amp are you planning to run?
