Bose HU question

I have the Bose HU in my car, and I love it!! the only problem with it is whenever I go to turn the volume up/down, I kinda have to work at it...if I'm trying to turn it up, the sound may go down a bit, then eventually, it'll turn up, and vice versa....it comes and goes, thats my only complaint about the audio.....

Oh yeah, is there a way of tuning the amps yourself? whenever I'm playing a CD and its up kinda loud, the right note will cause the tweeters to crackle a bit.....is this because of Bose's setup, or can I solve this by making a couple tweeks to each amp?

Thanks for any help....

There's a slight probability that you may have the SCV on. This allows the radio to adjust the volume based upon your speed and road noise. I have mine set on high, and it detects more noise as I slow down, etc. (kinda a nuisance at times). To see if it's on, hit the audio button until it says SCV xxxx. The xxxx will say off/low/mid/high. Just hit the up/down arrow to turn it toggle through the values. If it's not that, then you got me.

Sorry... The 4th gen doesn't have any speed control settings. You may have a problem with the HU itself or one of the amps that control the speakers. Sorry that I can't be of more help than that.
