Rigging Laptop to my AudioVideo System

I'm graduating from high school in a few days, and my mother accidentally let it slip that I was getting a laptop (with dvd player) for a graduation gift from my uncle. Right now my sound system is all-factory, including cd player. I plan on installing a system this summer, new speakers, woofer, amp, and would like to know if it is at all possible to mount a lcd screen in the back of each front seat, hook it all up to my laptop and use my sound system as a theater-setup. Anyone had this kind of experience before? Is it impossible or horrible expensive?

Possible? Yes. You would need: the LCD screens, a head unit that accepts an AUX input, and probably an AV output card for the laptop.
