Would the 5th Gen 6cd in-dash Bose work with a stock 4th Gen Bose system?

 

If you are talking about the head unit itself, I doubt that they will fit, because of the physical shape and size differences. The 4th gen ones are standard double-din size, whereas the 5th gen unit is not. Hope it helps.

 

And three months later, I finally read this post again. So how big are the 5th gen Bose HUs? Anyone?
