Question about alpine hu & cd-text display

Before I dig up my box and look in the manual, I thought I'd try here...

I have a CDA 7863 that supports CD-Text. Originally since I got it, when CD-text is available, it would scroll the song/CD names continually if they were more than 8 characters long.

After being out of a car for 8 months, I put it in the Max finally last weekend. Now it scrolls the cd/song names that are over 8 chars long once, and then just displays the first 8 characters statically after that. Anyone know if there's a small config change I could make to get it to continually scroll again (perhaps one thats applicable on many alpine decks)? Just curious.

Ive got the 7864 and there is a setting in one of the menus that is called dscrl or something like that. It needs to be on. Ill double check exactly how to get to the menu and all next time im in my car. Too late to wander out there now.
