Subwoofer setup

Is a 250/1 Jl amp pushing 1 12W3 a good setup? Will it hit hard in my trunk?

It will be okay, but if you're paying regular price than you can do a lot better for the same amount. JL equipment is good quality but you pay for it.

I have 2 JL AUDIO W3 12" in my trunk, with an MTX amp...with 300rms going to each sub...sometimes I can't even sit in my car...depending on the song...it will pop my ear drums the bass is soo low and deep
