amp

all i can do is fold down the seats in my 2k2, where did u find space to mount the amp? i didnt seem to find any. i was just gonna put it on the box, or wherever it gets the most cool air.

If you don't find an answer here I have asked the same question in another thread and I'm waiting for an answer. Search for the words "subjected to vibration" and it should come up. put thud in there too. I used that word a few times.

In general a vertically mounted amp will run cooler than one that is horizontally mounted. An amp rack would be best if you could find instructions on how to build one. Bolting the amp to the box is not the best idea unless you are confident it won't get broken into. Would you rather give someone the opportunity to take amp and subs in less than 10 seconds?

i got it bolted onto the back of my box vertially, so hopefully no1 can see it there. i have it velcroed down so its hard to move the box. so we'll see
