rear deck rattling

how do i get my rear deck in my i30 to stop rattling? my system has banged the $hit out of it. Also, i stuffed my box with plyfill the other day and didn't really notice a difference, did i put too much? the speakers had to be held in by my buddy so i could screw them in. also does any one know the best size box for jl12w3's dual voice coil 4 ohm? I belive it is 1.2 but i would like something smaller because my friend is going to build me a custom box for free and I want the best.

Re: rear deck rattling

polyfill isnt going to stop any rattling, its purpose is to give the effect of having a bigger enclosure than you already got. if you want to stop the rattling, get dynomat. its pricey, but a practical investment, and you wont here anymore ghetto rattle.

remove the rear deck lid and thrown down 3-5 layers of Dynamat to really notice any results. Mine has 4 layers on the top half facing the rear window and about 3 layers underneath where my 4channel is mounted. Not to mentions 2 door kits i used on the trunk lid alone
