Hey guys, my dad's 190E is having some weird problem with the volume ****. Only the left speakers work all the time, but if you push the volume **** to the left a bit, then suddenly the other speakers come on, and stay on for a while! What is going on here? What can I do to fix this? Please help guys, I hate to see a Mercedes with a "ghetto" radio...lol. Thanks.

Go to radio shack and buy terminal Cleaner spray

Pull the volume **** off and gently spray in there to clean it.
If that doesn't fix it, there might be a short in the volume control.

yup.. as he said.. that's about all you can do without taking it to a shop and having them repair it.. the **** itself may need to be replaced. you can usually find some at radio shack that will get the job done, but you gotta know what you're looking for. if you're not confident on tearing it apart, just take the car to a dealer or stereo shop and have them fix it for you.

To be honest Micah, I don't know. It is a 93 190E 2.6 w/6 speaker system. Does this help?
