Question for people that upgraded from BOSE.

ive heard that using adaptors and stuff will make install of an aftermarket deck and speakers easier, but is this at the cost of SQ?
cuz if i do get a deck and speakers i plan to do the install myself, and since ive got all but time on my hands i wouldnt be against tackling a project of rewiring everything if it meant it would sound better.

The adapters available I believe are really more for the situations where someone either wants to run aftermarket speakers on their stock hu, or an aftermarket deck on their stock speakers. Dunno if there's an in-line adapter that will let you use stock wiring with an aftermarket hu and speakers, but even if there was, I'd say just run all new wiring to the speakers, and don't even worry about possible loss of quality from an adapter.
