FS: BOSE Head Unit from 1999 Maxima- 100% Functional
BOSE Head Unit from 1999 Maxima
Removed this week to install an aftermarket unit that was given to me.
I pretty much use an adapter to play music off my phone as of late.
All functions are working properly. *****, buttons, cd player, tape player, etc. Absolutely no functionality issues whatsoever.
$59 shipped

It's not a direct plug and play. I've owned both a 93 GXE and 98 SE and had to change out both HU's. You can use a 97-99 HU in a 93, but you need a wiring harness adapter, or you need to cut and splice wires. I remember getting an adapter from a company in Florida for $35. I think if you do a search you can find folks selling the adapter.
By the way, the 99 HU is much more reliable than the 93 Bose unit. I've got this unit (for sale above) in my 98SE now and it's great.
Good luck with the up-fit.
