Next SCCA SOLO II event is at 3COM (candlestick park) on Feb 9th. I think that there is a NorCal meet this day, but the run group that most MAX would fall under STS is running in the morning.

Is anyone comming out for this one? I can take one person for a ride along, on one of my runs.

There's another one same place on Feb. 23rd also.

 

I don't know if i'll be able to make it. gotta clean my car. I am also looking into buying a car specifically for the autox, so that the max won't be trashed.

I will most likely be there, Haven't been able to get to any events lately but i have been an SCCA member for awhile now. BTW i do run in STS. hope to see ya there.

 

Are you going to run your maxima? I was planning to run my mazda 626 in STS...but I'm not entirely sure.

I'll be running in my MAX (Majestic Blue) if i go. Hope I can get my work/project done by saturday so i can make it.

 

It looks like there's going to be a Classic Toyota meet at the Autocross at candlestick park. Expect to see 70's era celicas (RA2x) and AE86 corollas- love these cars.

the run group the maxima runs in (STS) is in the morning. just before the meet. Is your car running yet?

unfortunately, my friend hasn't picked up his computer fr. storage. Don't worry, he'll get it to you sometime. U planning to use it for your sig? If he can't do it, I will. Also, my friend with the dark green SW20 (turbo MR2) will be there. He's the Japanese guy named Ta-ke.

The course was very uneven, I didn't spin out but there were a lot of others that did. There was even a Ford SVT Lightening and a Dodge Ram (I think). They were cool to watch cause they just have TOO much power for the course. The annoucer bagged on one of the drivers cause he had two DNF's and they said that they want to get him a least one clean run. I took out my mazda 626 and well.... let's just say that I'm going to have to invest in some shocks, RSB, and tires.


There's another even on the 23rd, but I can't go.
