Alignment Specs (I want good handling without the bad tire wear)

What do you guys think is a good alignment for a street setup? I'd like better handling but I don't want the tire wear increased TOO much.

-0.5, -0.7, -1 degree camber? How much toe out?

Let me know what you guys think.

Depends on how you drive on the street and if you track the car.

For agressive street driving I'd go 0 toe and -.5 to -1 for camber.

No such thing as good tire wear AND good handling. This is one of those crappy compromises that we have to make in our quest to have a daily-driven race car. And don't forget that camber and caster are non-adjustable... unless you have aftermarket camber plates.


I really like my alignment:

Camber = (plates at full negative) approx. -1.6 degrees
Caster = Non-adjustable
Toe = 1/8 inch toe out

So far, wear seems to be reasonable. The inside is starting to wear a bit, but that is to be expected.
