getting into autox

Hey I just got my maxima and I'm looking into autox. Is it something where you can just try it or do you need to prep for it. I think I'm going to the one in tampa saturday. Should I try it then or should I just watch and take notes for next time. And finally does anybody have any tips, thanx alot guys

Lots of tips and links in the FAQ stickies in this section. Start reading there.

No need to prep the car except for higher tire pressures and emptying the junk out. Get there early and tell people it's your first time. Try to find somebody to hang with you throughout the day and help you out. People are usually helpful if you let them know you're new. Have fun!

I went and watched for a day my first time. Just sat in some bleachers and asked lots of questions for hours. But that's just me.

Yeah, check out the FAQ on this forum and most important of all have FUN!!! You will have to empty all the junk in your car like BEJAY said and increase your tire pressure. DOn't be afraid with experimenting with different things like tire pressure, etc... ENJOY!!!
