BMW Auto-x at Summit Point

RESULTS LINK

Well it was a rainy day in Summit Point, WV, but more than 100 cars showed up to auto-x on the new circuit at Summit Point. It's basically three enormous skid pads put together, and a 1/4 mile long.

This was a BMW event, so classing was BMW based. For non-BMWs, the two classes were street tires and R-comps. Out of 37 people in the street tire class, I came in 5th with a 62.5. Out of 110 total, I came in 19th.

I knew coming into the event that the rain would level the playing field in my favor, but even so, I'm still happy to say I'm faster than many M3s

Some pics...none of which involve my car

Some people got a little carried away...

BTW, the car works so much better now with a RSB, I'm sad I didn't get one earlier!
