Beam bending party for 4th/5th gens in the works with B14 guys.....
The Sentra guys on SR20 are trying to get enough people together to get a group deal on this, as there are only a few people in the country who have the knowledge and tools to pull this off properly. Here's a link to the thread:

The price should be around $300-$400, and may sound steep, but it's a great mod for our cars. If you have any interest, post in here and I will relay the info to the Sentra board. The location is yet to be determined, but there's a good chance it will be somewhere on the east coast.

Interesting. I would actually like to get another beam bent with 1/8" ~ 1/4" total toe out for auto-x and tighter road courses. I might be down for this.
FYI Steve's jig can't bend 5th gen beams. It only works on 4th gens and B14s. Unless he finally got around to making a 5th gen jig.
Also remove the RSB before you get it done. The beam can't be bent with an RSB attached.
Theres always more to do for suspension/handling.

By changing the amount of toe the rear tires have. If you were to look down at the rear tires they look like this / \ which is called toe in. This causes the rear tires to grip alot more than the front tires during cornering causing understeer. Bending the beam can make the tires look like this | | which is 0 toe or this \ / which is toe out.
I had the beam bent to 0 toe and it makes a nice difference in handling. Reduces the understeer and the car feels more balanced.
If you are into Auto-x or drive very tight road courses you can bend the beam to toe out, this causes the rear tires to have reduced grip on cornering and with other suspension/chassis changes can cause oversteer even on a FWD car. Definitly not something for a newbie driver...

Here's a good writeup on the bending.

I've been wanting this mod for 4yrs now. Steve couldn't make the '07 SER convention here in Chitown. No way I can make D.C. but the SR20 guys are suggesting KY or IN which is close. 2010 SER might be held in Milwaukee too. For the price of the bend + gas I might just have a local frame shop take a whack at it. That's why I grabbed a spare axle this summer.
