2nd time AutoX, it came a monsoon!

http://www.trscca.org/2010results.html (i ran both events here)

I ran the Novice class again (G-Stock), and got my **** handed to me. To be fair though, i pax-owned more than half of the guys out there.

i'm a little at the fact it came a freaking downpour ALL DAY. what should have been a sub-60 course for most everyone ran me a 73, good for a 12th overall and 3rd in my class, but since next to nobody came out due to the rain, i don't really know how i would have done.

my first time, i was 7th out of 13 in my class, 47th of 55 overall.
second time, i was 3rd out of 4, 12th of 26 overall.

i felt like i pushed myself alot harder the second time, but that i didn't REALLY improve.

no pics or vids of yesterday's event, you couldn't really have seen anything anyway lol

did i do well for myself? the results link at the top is my first and second time ever doing it, and although i did kinda crappy, i didn't come in last (in class or overall)...is that something to be proud of, or what?

You did great finishing in the top half your second time out. Be proud. You improved from the 85% percentile up to 46%. It's really not enough data to work from yet. I like the fact you DNF'd once and coned away 2 of the 13 total runs. Means you're not coasting through it. But no spin in the monsoon? Come on, that's the perfect time to let the tail come around just so you're ready for it in the dry if it happens. I bet Tim's Eclipse spun that 5th run
