i've read all the rules online but i'm still not sure whether i'm street prepared or street modified.
here is a list of my mods that may effect the rating

batery relocation (trunk)
maxspeed springs with stock struts
rear stillen sway bar
front strut tower bar
tire size 235/40/18 bridgestone s-02
rim size 18x8
full interior
300zx brake conversion
porterfield r4s brake pads
goodridge stianless steel brake lines
power slot front rotors
motul 600 brake fluid
valve body recalibration
hayden 404 tranny cooler
place racing cai (mid pipe only)

will soon have:
bridgestone potenza s-03 245/40-18

235 tires alone = CSP. the rest of the stuff would put you in STS just maybe... but more than likely you'll be in CSP like me because of the 235 tires

I believe CSP is C Street Prepared. STS is Street Touring S, I also think the limit on tires for STS is 225, I could be wrong, I'm just going on memory.

225 is the widest tire allowed in STS.

Your 300ZX brake conversion would put you in SM I believe.

well... i just found out what my car was under.. they stuck me in osp (open street prepared) so i'm guaranteed not to win.. but it's all good i wasn't there to try to win, i had alot of fun..thanx of all your tips guys... the tire size would have thrown me into street modified. then the brake conversion through me into OSP...

you're either street prepared or osp.. but i think you're street prepared because you have stock brakes.. the displacement alone will throw u in street prepared i think.. and tires too. i tried pm-ing you but then you're in box is full. anyways.. i'm goign out next week again and i hope i do better. i learned alot today, and am very happy that i made the decision to join an autoXing event..

DSP D Street Prepared looks right.

Little better index than SM (Street Mod) too.

You would be in DSP if you went to a 225 or lower street tire you would be in STX because of the brakes. If I were you I'd get another set of S-02's they handle way better than the S-03's. The S-02's have a larger tread width {9.2"} vs the s-03's {9.0"} tread width. If you want a tire that will last much long go with the s-03. The tread rating for the s-02 is 140 while the s-03 is 220.

You would be in DSP also. If your tires were only 225 you would be in STX. The engine size limit for sts is 3.1L, for STX it's 5.0. I haven't heard of osp it must be a local class only.
