Paypal back the difference. Didn't you say you would pay the difference once you shipped??

Excuse me but whatever YOUR parents had to do comes out of your cut, not his.

Having someone else do a favor for you and ship something they have nothing to do with is very much an inconvenience, and I felt the incovenience warranted the extra shipping charges. I have shipped several sets of wheels after being on the forum for as long as I have and who are you to say which set costed what. Bash me on the forum, call me a cheat, thats fine, bottom line is I'm done with this board, and listening to you children argue over things such as this. Once again DO NOT CALL MY PARENTS HOUSE AND THREATEN THEM! Thats just wrong.

You gave me the number so I used the number you gave me.. I called and ask for you and hung up when your dad told me you weren't home. Your mom chose to call me back and I had to explain to her what happen. I wasn't going to get them involve but they gave me no choice. I never threaten your mom. I want my refund. I'm not letting this go. If you want to take it offline, feel free to email me. There was no packaging involved that would cost that much. All you did was cut out some boxes and taped it together. I kept all the email you sent me. I still have the original packing.

No $350 + shipping for rims and tires. And one of the tires were dead. Go to fedex.com and calculate the shipping for me. From 30022 to 02134, ground shipping for 37lbs. It came out to about $18.

the whole point of him selling them in the first place was that he was going to let his 18s plus tires go for CHEAP because one of the wheels was messed up. So shipping or noshipping $480 total is cheap considering one of the estimates to fix the rim was under 100 dollars.. you still got a deal

That's not the point. The point was he sold it for 350 + actual shipping cost. I can pull out the original and email to prove it. You don't mark up 300% for shipping charges to make up the price. If you want to do it like that, why didn't you ask for $480 shipped. The rims were all f#cked anyhow. Nice way to stick up for your boy.

the rims were NOT all f#cked up.... one was..... the rest were in very good condition. Tires were even fine. He gave you a price shipped at first. You didnt want to give him that so you offered him 350 i think. he estimated that the shipping would be 100 to you for a 450 total. You agreed. Therefore he in now way owes you your money back because you agreed on the final price. If the price depended on how much the shipping ended up being then that would be a diffrent story. All in all you still got 18s and tires for under 500 dollars. A while ago I bought a body kit off of someone here on the board.... I got charged 70 for shipping and i knew it didnt cost that much.. alot of it is time spent packaging them up and having the inconvience of shipping them... therefore i paid it, knowing it was way less than that to send it. and it came in terrible shape as well.

Dude, why don't you let him defend himself. How are you invovled in this transaction. Here are the copies of the emails. I didn't offered him nothing.

technically i could drive on 3 18's and 1 15" but that is just ricey.. .. anyways if you could do this deal for 350 plus pay the shipping of about 130 they will be all yours. I don't want to deal with your wheels now if one is bent since i have a deal lined up here in ATL so don't even worry about it. I will email you pictures of the wheels tomorrow and if you are satisfied hopefully we could make a transaction ASAP and I could get you the wheels out as quickly as I can so you could get them sometime next week. Email me if this sounds ok. Since your not completely positive about the wheels I am not gonna consider them sold yet, but you are on the top of my list considering everything is cool.

>I can paypal you right away. All I really need to do is transfer some money into the bank during business hours. Money is not a problem. I think this a great deal and I"m pretty sure I will buy it. One of my rims are bent and they are curb rashes on most of them. I can give you pictures if you need it right away. There's also a couple of org members selling rims so I can buy them for you and have them shipped to you. How come you are only driving on 3 18's? I know the other one is bent but you can still drive on it correct? So this is for 4 rims and 4 tires correct? Thanks! >

>Whats in bad shape?.. The rims or the tires. I can get you pictures by tomorrow night definatly. I am waiting on the response of one of my friends here in ATL, he might sell me his 16's for a decent price so I would prefer to do that. If he comes back to me with a good enough price, I will sell these to you for 350. Plus shipping costs which comes to around 130. So that would be 480 total. I expect to hear back from him tomorrow about his 16's. The tires are in really decent shape. Two are at about 50% and the other 2 are about 75%. I would say they have at least 20k around them left more like 25k. Email me back with your thoughts. As far as your wheels go, if my deal here doesn't work out, what is the shape of the wheels, and if it would be just wheels I wouldn't want you to bother with tires, I could take care of that here. Also what is your money situation and how soon could you make this deal if you were to buy them. I am in kinda a predicament, my parents are out of town so I am driving my dads car in order to avoid riding around on 1 15" and 3 18" so I am looking to get rid of these soon and buy new wheels immediatly.

Pictures would be good. How much thread left on your tires and what are the specs on the tires. I'm pretty sure I would buy them from you as long as you give me a decent price on them. Thanks bro!

It cost you $95 dollars to do all that right.. Yea ok.. It's part of the transaction. If it was such a pain then don't sell it. It's not over. Trust me.

No offense, but if you got what you paid for, I don't know if I would classify him as a "ripoff".

Also, this line says it all.....
anyways if you could do this deal for 350 plus pay the shipping of about 130 they will be all yours

He never said anything about giving you back the difference. And shipping wheels is a major PITA. He had a local buyer and went to extra trouble to ship them out to you.

FYI- I paid $110 to ship 4 wheels and tires via UPS ground, so you didn't get ripped off that bad. In fact, I am shocked that it was only $35.

Personally, I would drop this. You got your wheels at the price you agreed to, so you really are entitled to nothing.

My .02........

Ok next time I charged people extra because it's a pain in the a$$ to ship somethiing. He told me on AIM that he would refund the difference. I AGREED to pay for shipping, but not for handling cost or labor or whatever you guys want to call it of $95. Maybe next time you guys should charge for gas for driving to the shipping center too.

I'm not trying to start a flame war, but you should have done some research if you were that concerned with overpaying for shipping. You can estimate shipping at both FedEx and UPS websites.

Again, I can see why you are p!ssed, especially since he is boasting how cheap it was (which I find hard to believe still), but I would let it go because you got what you agreed to purchase (and they look great on your car).
